Shore lunches are one of the most relaxing and enjoyable parts of the fishing experience at Linger's Guide Service. Linger has taken time to prepare a location on the shore with all the necessary tools that includes a hard cover, table and hard chairs. Linger's years of experience in preparing the lunch and his unique recipes will prove to be a culinary delight from the cast-iron skillet to your plate. If all the great chefs of the world came together to collaborate on the most delicious meal ever prepared, they could not create a dish more delectable than those fresh-caught fish in seasoned corn meal, fried them up crisp and flaky and served them with a refreshing drink. There is nothing like the fresh catch from the cold waters of the White River. It will certainly be a memorable moment on the river.

Enjoy a fantastic trip on the Buffalo River With Linger's Guide service!

Stripers

When it comes to fishing for stripers on Lake Norfork, Bink's Guide Service is the only one you need to call. We work closely together on giving our clients the best of both worlds, weather it be on the river or on the lake. For additional information on Bink's Fintastic Guide Service click here or on Bink's business card on the Links page.

Buffalo River

For the avid and experienced fisherman you will like this!!  24 miles of the Buffalo River between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Exclusively fishing for Smallmouth Bass. We leave Norfork at 6 a.m., put in at 7 a.m. and cover the 24 miles by approximately 3 p.m., then motor the remaining 12 miles of the White River to return to Norfork. The fishing is usually great and the scenery is some of the finest Ozark Mountain beauty you will ever see. A challenging trip indeed but by the end of the day you will have memories to last a lifetime.

We float 20' river "jons" just like we use on the White River so comfort and safety are guaranteed. Bring plenty of film for your camera and always come prepared when it pertains to weather and your clothing.

The months of April and May are the best opportunity to enjoy this fantastic trip. In June the water level in the Buffalo gets so low it becomes very difficult to navigate the river. So, if this type of trip interests you........book the trip as soon as possible to guarantee your desired date.

Turkey Season

Arkansas Turkey season comes in the first part of April each year and there is a good population of Turkeys around Norfork Lake. We hunt from the boat allowing us the opportunity to travel quite some distance to find a "hot prospect". When we locate one we park the boat at the bank and go after Mr. Longbeard! It is an exciting hunt and the Ozark scenery is outstanding. Sometimes when you are waiting for the turkeys to gobble it's hard not to pick up your fishing pole and try your luck!!
