Hi! I am Jim Brentlinger of LINGER'S GUIDE SERVICE! My wife, Nancy, and I have been married 25 years and live in Norfork, Arkansas.

I started coming to the White River in 1959 with my family and have not been able to get it out of my system ever since. Even though Nancy and I have hunted and fished the Western Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to southern Brazil we have always come back to the White River. The fabulous White & Norfork rivers, the brilliant colors of the Ozark Mountain scenery, gin clear Norfork Lake and a relatively mild climate all add up to a quality of life which is very appealing.

If you have never been here you should come see us and enjoy the Trout fishing and the natural beauty the area has to offer. If you have been here you know what I am talking about and you need to get back and let me show you a great time on the river or lake.

I have been here permanently since 1995 and we just completed a new home overlooking the White River and surrounding White River Basin. Guiding allows me the freedom to be outdoors most of the time and meet all types of people from all over the country. It is very enjoyable and rewarding when people you meet come back year after year to fish and enjoy the area like I do.

We hope you will come see us and allow me to show you a great fishing trip and outstanding scenery. I promise if you come once you will be hooked and want to come back often. Give me a call and let's work out a trip that will accommodate everything you want to do in the Ozarks.
